Hello Everyone
A benefit will be held on Tuesday December 6th 2005 at the Ringside Cafe which is located at 2742 4th St. North St. Petersburg, Fl 33716. for out friend and fellow musician Joe Ishikawa. Joe is a guitarist with the Blue Lightning Band and has suffered a severe injury received in a tragic event he and his partner we electrocuted while painting a house. As you know the bills never stop, Joe is laid up unable to work or play the guitar he loves so much. Please attend this show featuring an all-star line up of Tampa Bay's favorite blues musicians & singers.

The show starts at 7pm and features Blue Lightning, Jimmy Griswold, Damon Fowler, Tommy McCoy, Liz Pennock & Dr. Blues, Glenn Evans, Mike Chavers, Josh Nelms, Vincent Sims, Honey Boy, Kim Harpo Walter Smith, Josh Nelms, and many more.

It's going to be a great show for a great cause so come on out and have some fun and open your hearts and wallets. These are pictures of some of the players who will be at the show.

We are having a benefit for Joe Ish at the Ringside Cafe Tuesday November 6th with an all star line up I will be playing with The Glenn Evans Blues Band with Josh Nelms. Others on the bill are Damon Fowler, Tommy McCoy, Sarasota Slim, Jimmy Grizwald, and many others who I can't remember off the top of my head. Hopefully Joe Ish will be there too. Hi Everyone

If you havn't heard A Bolt of Blues....Literally Joe Ish the lead guitar/vocals of BLUE LIGHTNING and his friend Rob, were electrocuted while preparing a house to paint. Joe Ish is @ the hospital in a lot of pain, but unfortunately Rob died at the scene. Please say a prayer for Rob & Joe and their families. All November Gigs for BLUE LIGHTNING have been cancelled.

Mike Chavers is Playing with Walter Smith's Chicago Nites at DCoy Ducks 5410 Marina Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217 Anna Maria, Island. It's a nice cozy place with a liquor store and pool tables. A great local crowd with a few tourists thrown in the mix for good measure. Come on down we got Josh Nelms on Guitar and Brent "spoons" Winner on drums. It will be a fun night.
