Jimmy Norman

Hi Everyone

I was surfing the web the other day and I was looking up some of my music professors from college and came across my Bass Professors obituary. I consider him my musical father. It was a real drag because we had played phone tag about a year ago and we never did speak. So I have been trying to find others that I worked with over the years that had helped shape my musical influences and I got in touch with my friend Jimmy Norman.

I worked many years with Jimmy when I was in NY NY. We worked together in the original Carl Gardner Coasters. A real great singer and writer. He just got a record deal with distribution no real money though you know how that goes. He wrote the lyrics to the Rolling Stones 1st Hit. He is in poor health and had a heart bypass a couple of years ago and can only do a song or two at a time now.

Check out his site it tells his story and has some sound bites. If you have a web site and can put a link to it maybe it will help get some more sales or interest for this great performer.

Or buy the CD that's kool too.
