Mike Chavers will be playing at Dave’s Aqua Lounge with the Nelms / Chavers Band. It’s Good Friday and we are not going to be good but when we’re bad we’re even better. It’s always a pleasure to play here with Josh Nelms on Guitar and Glenn Evens on the tubs. We start around 9 and go all night… So come on out and rock the blues with us.

The Pinellas Park Chili Blaze, Saturday AM Market, and the Swigwam

We will be playing for the Pinellas Park Firefighters 10th Annual Chili Blaze. This is a Chili cook-off contest and the proceeds will go to help find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy. The St. Pete Blues All-stars will be Mike Chavers on bass and vocals, Josh Nelms guitar and vocals, Glenn Evens on drums and vocals, and special guest T C Carr on the Mississippi Saxophone and vocals. Come on out and sample the chili and help stamp out this horrible disease. It all starts around 6pm and the fireworks show will begin at 10pm and is located at 5000 82nd Ave, Pinellas Park, FL 33781-1530

Good grief this is an early gig. Mike will be playing with the Charlie Morris Band for the St Petersburg Saturday Morning Market. We start the bloody Marys at 10am and go until 2pm so come on out and get your fresh veggies and support the arts.

Mike is continuing the madness with the Charlie Morris Orchestra back at the Swigwam or whatever the hell they call that place on St Pete Beach. We go from 7pm until 11pm playing loud obnoxious music until they pull the plug and send us home…
