Mike will be playing at the Polk Museum of Art’s Red, White & the Blues festival with Sarasota Slim, featuring Josh Nelms and China Town Chuck with a little Nitro thrown in for some fun. We are the opening act for Blues legend Bobby “Blue” Bland. But besides the great music, General Admission ticket holders get treated to free beer and barbecue by Good Buddies BBQ all evening! A cash bar will be available with premium beer, wine, and mixed drinks. But, the perks get even better if you purchase V.I.P. tickets: open bar, food by Texas Cattle Company, a wine tasting, private parking, and a balcony overlooking the concert!

Mike and Josh are going to be driving fast to get back to Dave’s Aqua Lounge to play some hot rockin blues to all our friends in St Pete so come on our and support live music with the Nelms / Chavers Band. Dave’s is located on Gandy Blvd just east of the dog track we will be starting around 9:30 to 1:30.

Mike will be at the Ringside Café playing with Sarasota Slim and China Town Chuck with the lovely Lisa behind the bar mixing those wonderful ice-cold tastey adult beverages. This week we will start at 8-ishhhhhhhh and play until you holler uncle.

For all you Suncoast Blues Society members vote for your favorite blues bands to paly at the IBC show at Skippers. Tuesday is the last day to cast your ballot.
