Walter Smith New Years Eve Party……

Join WALTER SMITH And CHICAGO NIGHTS at 4th St. Cigars (2900 4th Street N. St. Pete 727-898-1884) on Sat, Dec 31st.

Along with Walter on guitar and vocals, Mike Chavers will be on bass, Vincent Sims to play lead guitar, with Brent “Spoons” Winner on drums & the "Blind Dog" on harmonica. The party starts at 8:30pm. It’s just $15.00 at the door, (Walter says it’s one of the more reasonable door charges you'll find in the area for a New Years Eve Blues Party.)

Time again for the Tuesday Nite Blues and Booze event at the Ringside Cafe located at 2742 4th Street North. The band features Glenn Evans on drums Mike Chavers on bass and Josh Nelms on guitar. We will be playing from 8:30 until 12:30.If you like good blues, food, and booze this is the place to be in St. Petersburg. They have all the best local and traveling blues acts in the city. They got the regular bar food but it is inexpensive and big portions. The service is quick and friendly. The drinks are stiff and prices reasonable. You can't go wrong.

I am sorry to report that Damon Fowler local blues guitar great has had a serious Automobile accident coming back from a gig last week in which he was severely injured. He is at St Joseph's Hospital in Tampa and is expected to recover but will be laid up for a while. Lets all pray for Damon, I will post more on my blog when I get the info.

Hi Everyone

Mike Chavers is playing with Tommy and the Bellacasters tonite and tomorrow at Pastino's Restaurant 1750 Clearwater Largo Rd, Clearwater, FL 33756 (727) 559-0506. We will be playing a variety of music from classic rock to the blues. This place has it all great Italian food and a great venue for music. We start early 7 till 10:30 pm so come on out and enjoy the band and the food.
